The WIS 441 Tri-County Project: special features The Project is needed to address safety concerns and traffic demands on one of the region's vital transportation routes. The new WIS 441 look will feature the latest in design and technology. Roundabouts – the most modern and safest form of intersection in the U.S. Roundabouts are gaining popularity in the United States due to their proven track record of providing safer and more efficient traffic flow. As part of the US 41 project, 40 roundabouts are being constructed in Brown and Winnebago counties. 8 roundabouts are proposed to be constructed as part of the WIS 441 Tri-County Project at interchanges located east of Little Lake Butte des Morts.
